10 #MyTupelo Photos We Loved in August

x

1. @___kruzzer___

You don’t have to have an Airstream to travel to the Elvis Presley Birthplace, but it sure looks cool when you roll up in one!

2. @anthony_teague

Anthony Teague is a photographer who’s found himself on this blog before, and you can probably see why. This photo of the Natchez Trace Parkway is stunning.

3. @birdseyemedia_ (shared via @downtowntupelo)

While Tupelo didn’t find itself within the Line of Totality for the total solar eclipse last month, we did see 92 percent coverage. This photo captured by @birdseyemedia_ captured a great perspective from that really fun day.

4. @brewpelo

August brought a new edition to the already excellent Tupelo coffee shop scene with Strange Brew opening its doors! Check them out on North Gloster (and try the Albino Squirrel drink)!

5. @desireewhitford

We agree with Desiree, Zebras are very cool indeed. We’re not sure if they’re black with white stripes or white with black stripes, though. Maybe ask the Tupelo Buffalo Park & Zoo?

6. @LeeAdams_ (shared by @tbradenbishop)

August brought football season back to Tupelo High! This shot captured the very first touchdown of the season. Go Golden Wave!

7. @popsypopsicles

Popsy kept some of our #MyTupelo team chill during the USTA Mixed Doubles tournament last month. Thanks, y’all!

8. @ryanputt_

If you’ve never fished out at Elvis Presley Lake, this photo from @ryanputt_ might get you to start.

9. @vmoore0704

You never know what you’ll find during a swim meet at the Tupelo Aquatic Center, but we can assure you it’ll always be fun.

10. @WTVAjohn

IT’S JOHNNNN CENNNNAAAAA!!! Can you see him?
