Blue Canoe is a laid back, funky joint and Tupelo's home for original live music. The relaxed atmosphere takes its patrons miles away, while the staff make them feel right at home. It serves clever, mostly hands-on bar food and offers more than 100 beers - 35 of which are on tap daily. It was recently voted Top 10 Burgers in MS. It's often called a "5 Star Dive Bar." Link Centre
The Link Centre presents a variety of music, film, and dining events either through its programs or its partners. A multi-tenant nonprofit facility: home to organizations ranging from North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra to West of Shake Rag Improv to Sisters Network Tupelo Chapter, with three performance hall/rental venues and a commercial kitchen. Attend events in the Concert Hall, Reception Hall, Black Box Theater, or other spaces. Make sure you attend the annual Don't Be Cruel BBQ Duel, which is the major fundraiser for the Link Centre. Starting as a small pop up coffee bar in the corner of Relics Marketplace, we set out on a journey of coffee education and growth. Oren Dunn City Museum
The Oren Dunn City Museum is housed in a converted dairy barn, which was a part of the internationally known Forest Lake Farms. The museum weaves a beautiful tapestry of what makes Tupelo great from its humble birth to present day. Re-live the rich history of this awarded "All America City" through an eclectic village and its original dogtrot cabin, one-room church and school! Find out more about Tupelo through permanent exhibits including a model of the 1940's railroad, tornado history, Hospital on the Hill history, Chickasaw cultural history, and the northeast Mississippi fossils! The museum is also located inside Ballard Park where having access to playgrounds, picnic areas, and a lakeside walking trail makes for a great day for any visitors and tour groups.
