Overview

This is one of 14 significant sites in Elvis' formative years in Tupelo marked with bronze plaques on the Elvis' Tupelo Driving Tour. Located on the “Hill” on Green Street, the grocery was often the center of socializing which included picking and singing on the front porch. Elvis was often present for these gatherings and influenced by the style of musicians found here.
