Overview
"Local artist Morris McCain. This mural tells the story of Tupelo through iconic images such as the 1936 Tupelo tornado, the 1956 Homecoming Concert of Elvis Presley, and the Tupelo National Battlefield, which commemorates the American Civil War battle of Tupelo, fought in 1864. Other images include the Lyric Theater, the old Lee County Courthouse, and the TVA arrow sign.
