Tupelo Veterans Museum
Overview
The Tupelo Veterans Museum is a military collection shared by Tony Lute, a United States Army Veteran. He enjoys sharing his collection that has taken him over sixty years to accumulate. Come in and enjoy a museum which honors and remembers those who fought for freedom - especially those who paid the ultimate price. Among the Civil War memorabilia, you can see guns, swords, uniforms, maps, pictures, artifacts, and even a signed document by Abraham Lincoln! Items on display from World War II include a fully restored half track, a Jeep or two, all kinds of weapons, uniforms, books, pictures, movies, and a large collection of airplane and ship models. The Korean, Vietnam, and Gulf Wars are also represented in radios, field telephones, guns, uniforms, maps, flight-suits, and field equipment. Stop in and you may even get to talk with a United States Veteran while you tour the museum!
